The public defense of Yi-Hsin Li’s doctoral thesis, “Steered Mixture of Experts for Compact and Edge-aware Representation: From 2D Image Regression to 3D Radiance Fields” will take place at Technical University, Berlin, on February, 5, 2026, at 14:00 (CET). The thesis work has been done in a double-degree PhD agreement between Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden and Technical University Berlin, Germany.
