Work package 1 addresses the problem of plenoptic imaging acquisition, including the development of novel hardware and software solutions.

The research in this work package is divided into five tasks, which are also ESRs’ individual projects:

  • Wavefront coding for computational plenoptic cameras (ESR2, TAU-INRIA-IOMCNR)
  • Sensing and reconstruction of plenoptic point clouds (ESR6, INRIA-TAU- Sandvik)
  • Spherical light field representation and reconstruction from omni-directional imagery (ESR7, INRIA-TUB-IMEC).
  • 4D Biospeckle optical coherence tomography (ESR14, IOMT-TAU-ETRI).
  • Analysis and compression of dynamic speckle (ESR15, IOMT-TUB-ETRI).
