The public examination of MSc Soheib Takhtardeshir’s doctoral dissertation titled “VAE-Driven Compression of Light Field Images through Disentangled Latent Modeling and Perceptual Quality Assessmen” on Thursday, 22.01.2026 at 09:15 CET. The thesis work has been done in a double-degree PhD agreement between Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden and University of Rennes, France.
The defense will be held at Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall Campus, Room L111, and can be followed in Youtube
